Jeff Jarrett shocked everyone with his appearance on AEW Dynamite tonight. The former WWE star appeared following Darby Allin’s match with Jay Lethal. Jarrett destroyed Darby with a guitar shot to the head. Now, it appears that Double J is sticking around AEW.

Tony Khan took to Twitter after Dynamite tonight to reveal that he’s signed Jeff Jarrett to an executive position in AEW. Jarrett’s new position will see him work in similar capacity to his former job in WWE.

For those not in the know, Jeff Jarrett worked as both on-screen and off-screen talent during his last stint with WWE. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was directly answerable to Vince McMahon, but lost his position after Triple H came to power.
