Former WWE talent Kyle Garrett Rasmussen, formerly known as Conrad Tanner, has been arrested and charged with trying to strangle a man. The incident took place while Rasmussen was seated in the backseat of a vehicle last weekend in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
According to The Detroit News, Kyle Garrett Rasmussen tried to strangle the driver for reasons unknown. This resulted in his girlfriend getting struck by a moving car while attempting to flee the scene.
Rasmussen, who is a resident of Metamora, Michigan, was arraigned through 52-3 District Court on a charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and his bond was set at $25,000.
According to local police, Rasmusen was a passenger in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado that was headed west on M-59 when he attempted to grab the steering wheel and choke the driver. The driver managed to stop his truck near Adams Road and fled. Rasmussen’s girlfriend, Sarah Ratfliff, also attempted to flee the scene.
However, Sarah was struck by a moving vehicle just 100 meters from the parked truck. The Sheriff’s office is searching for the driver that hit his late-girlfriend.
Kyle signed with WWE’s developmental territory FCW in 2009. During his short tenure with the promotion, he picked up notable wins over Wade Barrett and Derrick Bateman. He worked just 30 matches for the company before being released in 2010.
