Colt Cabana Returns To Answer ROH World Title Open Challenge During AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho issued an open challenge for his ROH World Championship during a previous episode of AEW Dynamite. The Ocho said he’ll take on any former ROH Champion. Tonight, an unexpected opponent answered the challenge.

Chris Jericho appeared during Dynamite tonight to put his ROH World Championship on the line against any former ROH Champion. Jericho said he’ll take on anyone and would even “kick Lamar Jackson’s ass.”

Colt Cabana’s music hit and the former ROH Tag Team Champion came to the ring to answer The Ocho’s open challenge. This was Cabana’s first AEW appearance in months.

The multi-time champion last competed for Tony Khan’s promotion at Death Before Dishonor on July 23, 2022, when he defeated Anthony Henry in singles comeptition.

Colt Cabana did not win against Jericho, but this appearance is notable, especially since CM Punk threw such huge shade at him during his infamous media scrum after AEW All Out.
