Backstage Update On Kevin Owens’ Absence From WWE Television

Kevin Owens hasn’t been seen on WWE television in a while, but that does not mean the company forgot about him. In fact, there is a plan for his return to television, but fans haven’t witnessed that go down just yet.

A report came out saying that WWE paused plans for Kevin Owens because of Sami Zayn’s current success with the Bloodline story. Of course, Ringside News exclusively reported Sami Zayn’s current angle with Roman Reigns’ faction is television gold, but it has nothing to do with why Owens isn’t on television.

Ringside News asked around about this situation, and we were told that Kevin Owens “is off TV and will be back on TV when the time is right.” It was also made 100% clear that “this is intentional.”

The situation with Kevin Owens’ current television absence “has nothing to do with Sami or any outside factors.” There are also “no problems” and “it is not an injury.”

WWE has a lot of plans as the road to WrestleMania creeps up on us. Things will pop off for Kevin Owens once again, but Triple H is holding off until the time is right to start that new path for the former Universal Champion.
