Cody Rhodes became one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW after making his WWE return at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have solid matches with Seth Rollins and elevated himself to the upper mid-card. Unfortunately, an injury put him on the shelf during that excellent return run.
The American Nightmare was on a roll since his return, but he has not been seen on WWE television since Hell In A Cell due to a torn pectoral muscle. Cody Rhodes underwent surgery for the same and will be out of action for a long time.
Cody Rhodes took to his Twitter and revealed how his physical therapy is going. Rhodes made it clear that it hurts a lot, and it is simply going ‘awful’ for him.
“How’s pt going?” It’s fn’ awful.
“Everyday we dig into the muscle, then I scream, half the time I spot a tear flowing.
“It’s a near impossible task getting a bodypart that had been shredded to 100%…or Hell even 90%. But on the worst of days I have the best reason to not tap out”
Rhodes is also healing faster than expected. Cody Rhodes hinted at making his return during the Royal Rumble match next year. We’ll have to see if he will return at the event or not.
