Edge is presently absent from WWE TV after losing to Finn Balor in their “I Quit” Match at Extreme Rules 2022. After this year’s Hell in a Cell premium live event, Edge made an attempt to bring Finn Balor on board as The Judgment Day’s newest member. That didn’t stop Rhea Ripley from insulting The Rated-R Superstar on his birthday, though.
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest betrayed Edge, the man who had brought them into the faction, so the Rated R Superstar’s plan backfired. Ripley sent wishes to the WWE veteran by posting a vintage image of The Judgment Day on her own Instagram account.
Balor joined the group to take the place of the Rated-R Superstar. Dominik Mysterio also became the villain during Clash at the Castle by betraying his father, Rey Mysterio, who had partnered up with the 49-year-old.
The fight between Edge and Finn Balor at Extreme Rules included multiple fake finishes and much violence. Bill Apter, a Hall of Fame journalist and veteran wrestler, noted the same thing. Rhea Ripley finally assaulted Beth Phoenix with a steel chair to end the “I Quit” Match at Extreme Rules. Only time will tell where this whole situation leads, but we’re here for it.
