AEW’s roster is full of talented wrestlers, consisting of both veterans and the younger generation of talents. This includes Wardlow, who has been a force to be reckoned with since his debut in AEW back in 2020. He’s been involved in many huge moments, including MJF vs CM Punk at AEW Revolution.

At AEW Revolution, Wardlow finally turned on MJF in his match against CM Punk in a dog collar match. This resulted in MJF losing the match, signalling the beginning of his feud with Wardlow.

While speaking with the ESPR podcast, Wardlow stated that him helping CM Punk defeat MJF was the best moment of his career.

That was possibly the best moment of my career, which is crazy because earlier that night, I won the Revolution ladder match,” Wardlow said. “And that was the biggest moment of my career, and felt amazing. So it’s crazy that was overshadowed by this moment because when I sat that ring down, and I turned around and walked back up the ramp, the reaction from the crowd was so powerful. I just knew in that moment that we did it. Like we did it, and this is going to be bigger than I ever imagined.

Wardlow also doesn’t want MJF as the new AEW World Champion. Only time will tell how far Ward-Dog goes in AEW, or elsewhere. We’ll have to see what’s next for him, and if he can top turning on MJF as his biggest career highlight.
