Emma had a solid run in NXT as she was part of the original female wrestlers back then, competing against the likes of Saraya and others. Her main roster run was largely forgettable for a variety of reasons. Now, Emma’s boyfriend is also very happy about her return.
Emma was eventually let go by WWE back in 2017. Following her release, she went on to work in various promotions, including Impact Wrestling, where she won multiple championships.
Emma returned to WWE last Friday night on SmackDown. The Australian answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Emma lost after Rousey made her tap out to the armbar. Emma’s boyfriend Madcap Moss took to Twitter and penned an emotional message for Emma’s WWE return.
This was a special moment to witness, made astronomically better knowing how much it meant to her and how hard she worked to get it. Welcome home
@TenilleDashwood, can’t wait to watch the journey continue
Emma is also overwhelmed by all the emotional support she has been getting. We’ll have to wait and see how she will fare in WWE this time around.
