Emma had a memorable run in NXT as she was part of the original female wrestlers back then, feuding with the likes of Saraya and others. Her main roster run was anything but memorable for a variety of reasons. She is also overwhelmed by fan support.
She was eventually released by WWE back in 2017. Following her release, she went on to work in various promotions, including Impact Wrestling – where she won multiple championships.
Emma returned to WWE last Friday night on SmackDown. The Australian answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Emma lost after Rousey made her tap out to the armbar. Emma took to Twitter and penned an emotional message to mark 5 years since her WWE release, stating that she is overwhelmed by fan support.
