“Platinum” Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn have been gaining fame in the wrestling community over the past few months. The Acclaimed is taking over the wrestling industry, and celebrations of titles, scissoring, and more are raging all across AEW. However, it appears that their influence has now spread into Major League Baseball from the world of wrestling.

The Acclaimed gained more notoriety than ever after Caster and Bowens triumphed in the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the Grand Slam episode of “Dynamite.” Rhys Hoskins of the Philadelphia Phillies went back to his dugout after hitting a home run in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series to celebrate with his team.

Hoskins and teammate Brandon Marsh were observed exchanging the “scissoring” hand sign there. In the end, the Phillies won their game against the San Diego Padres and went on to the World Series. Hoskins and Marsh’s action wasn’t lost on Bowens, who once more declared on Twitter.

EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!

Caster responded when he saw “scissoring” in the postseason of baseball. Caster wrote on Twitter that he’s a Phillies fan now. “I think I’m a @Phillies fan now,”

Caster and Gunn joined Bowens on Friday to wish the Philadelphia Phillies luck in their World Series matchup against the Houston Astros. The Phillies are attempting to win their first world title since 2008. At AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view, The Acclaimed will attempt to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship against Swerve in Our Glory.
