A couple of months ago, Elon Musk attempted to buy Twitter. Before the deal could go through, Elon Musk pulled out, citing that the platform has a lot of bots. Since then, Twitter has been trying to force Elon Musk to go through with the deal as planned.
A few weeks ago, Elon Musk finally decided to go through with his acquisition of Twitter. And yesterday, he finally became Twitter’s official owner. The first act after becoming the owner of the social media platform was to fire a bunch of top executives including the CEO.
Back in April, Mick Foley tweeted that he will consider leaving Twitter if Elon Musk manages to acquire the microblogging site.
“I’ll be giving some serious thought to leaving @Twitter for good in the near future. I do not have a good feeling about where this platform is heading.”
Now it looks like he has deleted his Twitter account. A quick search for Mick Foley will show only Foley is Pod account, while his personal Twitter account doesn’t show up. We will have to wait and see if Mick Foley has deleted his account for good or if this is temporary.
