WWE’s recent announcement states that the next Elimination Chamber match will take place on February 18th, 2023, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The news, however, sparked rumors that Sami Zayn could go one-on-one with Roman Reigns in a major title match.
Zayn has shared his thoughts in response to rumors that he would compete with the Bloodline leader for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. In a recent interview with Mirror Sport, Sami Zayn stated that he knows about all the online fan theories. Even he is unsure of the direction the storyline is taking, though.
“I see all the fans trying to predict it, and they don’t know and, in a way, I don’t know because the reactions start taking it in different directions. For example, the dynamic between Jey [Uso] and myself? I don’t know that it was ever meant to be like this, but now you’re starting to get people guessing what’s Jey going to do and where is it going for him.”
On the September 23rd SmackDown episode, Zayn was officially announced as an honorary member of The Bloodline. The segment was regarded as one of the top WWE moments of the year thus far. Stay tuned to Ringside for more updates.
