After the way last week’s AEW World Championship match ended, Jon Moxley was disappointed. Therefore, he issued a challenge and Penta El Zero Miedo stepped up to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Tonight’s match card is as follows:

• Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta
• Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara
• We’ll hear from MJF
• Riho vs Jamie Hayter
• #1 contender’s match for the AEW Tag Team Championships: FTR vs. Swerve In Our Glory
• AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

AEW Dynamite Opener:

The opening package for the show airs.

The commentators welcome the audience to the show and walk through the card.

Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta

Chris Jericho’s music hits and he walks out with his Jericho Appreciation Society stablemates. Claudio Castagnoli’s music hits and he walks out with Wheeler Yuta and Williams Regal. Regal will be on commentary for this match.

The match begins with Claudio and Jericho in the ring. Jericho flips the crowd as they boo him. Claudio starts with uppercuts in the corner followed by a clothesline. Jericho tags in his partner but he is also knocked down by Claudio who then tags in his partner.

Wheeler Yuta hits the dropkick on Garcia and works the arm. Yuta attacks Garcia in the corner viciously. Headbutt by Garcia followed by chops in the corner. Yuta with a body slam and senton. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Claudio enters the ring and both men attack their opponents as Jericho Appreciation saves their stablemates by pulling them out of the ring.

Back in the ring and Yuta tags in Claudio who hits an uppercut. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Garcia fights back and tags in Jericho who chops Claudio but Claudio fights back with uppercuts. He is distracted by Jake Hager as Jericho hits the dropkick as Claudio falls to the outside.

Jericho slams Claudio’s head into the ring announcer’s table before sending him into the ring. Claudio fights back but an enzuigiri stops him. Jericho tags in Garcia who continues to work Claudio.

Garcia tags in Jericho who goes for a suplex but is reversed by Castagnoli who hits a suplex of his own. Jericho tags in Garcia who enters the ring and attacks the back of Claudio before applying the chin lock as the crowd boos him.

Claudio tries to lift him and hits a suplex. Jericho tagged in and goes for codebreaker but is stopped. Claudio hits an uppercut on Jericho as both are down in the ring.

Claudio tags in Yuta who hits a splash. Cover! 1…2…kick out, Garcia enters the ring but is sent out by Yuta. Yuta tags in Claudio and hits the tornado DDT. Jericho fights back with a codebreaker. Cover! 1…2…broken up by Yuta. Yuta dives onto JAS on the outside. Jericho takes the baseball bat but is powerbombed by Claudio. He then picks up Garcia and hits the Airplane spin and swing combo on both of his opponents.

Hager tries to interfere but is taken out by Claudio. He climbs the top rope and goes for the uppercut followed by the neutralizer for the win.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta

Bryan Danielson is interviewed by Renee Paquette who asks about his match. He says he is frustrated he lost to Jericho and that Garcia attacked him. He says he will take out all his frustration against Sammy Guevara. Wheeler Yuta walks and asks if he saw that they won their match and both men start bickering but are broken up by Claudio. He tells them that after Bryan’s match they will sit down and discuss this like adults. Bryan Danielson then walks away.

Backstage Daniel Garcia and Jericho are interviewed who claimed Claudio cheated by bringing in the baseball bat into the ring. Jericho then issues an open challenge to any former ROH Champion. Sammy Guevara says he will put on a show like anybody has ever seen and he will beat Bryan Danielson

FTR vs. Swerve In Our Glory

Swerve’s music hits first followed by Keith Lee and they both walk out to the ring. FTR’s theme song plays and they come out to the ring. The Acclaimed’s music hits and they walk out with chairs in their hands and sit at the entrance ramp to watch the match.

Cash Wheeler starts the match with Swerve. Both men brawl in the corner. Cash takes down Swerve with a side headlock but is reversed by Swerve. Cash taken down by Swerve.

Cash tags in his partner who hits suplex and leg drop. Cover! 1…2….Kick out. Serves fights back and tags in Keith Lee.

Dax goes for an arm drag but is stopped. He tags in Cash and they attempt Big Rig but is stopped by Lee. He takes out FTR with a crossbody.

Lee goes to work on Cash in the corner. Vicious chop from Keith Lee. Lee tags in Swerve. Swerve goes to work on Cash. He tags in Lee before attacking the neck. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Cash tries fighting back with chops but is stopped by one chop from Keith Lee.

Lee tags in Swerve who stops Cash from making a tag and starts punching him. He moves him into the corner and tags in Lee.

Swerve tags himself in but a blackbody drop allows Cash to tag in Dax who attacks Swerve with some chops. Keith Lee tries to stop Dax but he chops Lee as well. Lee sent outside. Rollup by Dax. Cover! 1…2…kick out

Harwood with the German suplex followed by a tag and both men attacked Swerve. Powerbomb by Dax followed by Dragon suplex from Cash. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Wheeler with uppercuts to Swerve. Swerve tags in Keith who picks Cash who hits a combo with Swerve. He picks Cash and hits a powerbomb combo with Swerve. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Lee picks up Cash but he counters with a hurricanrana. Dax hits the slingshot powerbomb but is taken out by Lee. He headbutts Wheeler. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Keith works Cash in the corner. He climbs the second rope and picks up Cash. Dax tags himself in and starts chopping Keith Lee.

He goes for the superplex but Keith Lee fights back. Cash tags himself in. Dax hits the superplex followed by the splash from Cash. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Wheeler tags in his partner. They go for Big Rig but is stopped by Swerve. but it’s not enough as FTR hit BIG Rig. Cover! 1…2….Dax is pulled out by Strickland.

Cash sent into the barricade. Lee picks up and slams Dax for the pinfall.

Winner: Swerve In Our Glory

After the match, Gunn Club attacks FTR but The Acclaimed come to the rescue.

Saraya is backstage with Renee. But they are interrupted by Britt Baker and they both start bickering but they are broken up by Renee who tells them if they want to talk then let’s do it properly.

MJF’s music plays and he walks out to be interviewed by Renee Paquette. He says the Devil has arrived in Virginia. He ask if there are any devil worshippers in the crowd.

Renee asks how he feels about wrestling Jon Moxley. MJF imitates Moxley. He tells the crowd he loves them. He then says that the only word that comes to mind when he thinks of Moxley. He then asks Renee to shut up.

He also said he didn’t mean that he would wrestle the entire match clean. He then says that William Regal saying he used his brass knuckles because he wanted to got under his skin.

He then promises he won’t use his Dynamite Diamond Ring at Full Gear because he doesn’t need it. He says that the only thing he never needed is a grudge. He then said that he is fighting every scumbag who told him he wasn’t good enough. He will use that chip on his shoulder to win the AEW World Championship.

He is interrupted by Stokeley Hathaway. He walks and says he won’t lay a hand on Moxley. MJF stops him and says he needs Moxley at 100 percent at Full Gear. He then orders Stokeley not to go near him or he’s fired. Hathaway then walks away.

MJF then says his catchphrase.

Matt Taven challenges Wardlow for a match at AEW Rampage.

Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara (with Tay Melo)

Sammy Guevara theme plays and he walks out with Tay Melo. Bryan Danielson’s music plays next and he comes out to the ring.

The match begins and Guevara hits a knee strike and starts attacking Bryan in the corner. Guevara goes for a Guevara cutter. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Sammy works Bryan in the ring. Bryan goes for German suplex but Sammy lands on his feet.

Bryan takes him down and goes for Romero special. Bryan driving the knee into the back. Bryan with an uppercut. He continues the attack in the corner.

Sammy fights back but to no avail as Bryan isn’t backing down. Bryan gains an advantage with some vicious chops and kicks. Uppercut from Bryan knocks down Sammy.

Bryan works the arm of Sammy Guevara. He stomps the elbow. Bryan with palm strikes and closed fists to Sammy. Sammy rolls out of the ring but Bryan with a dropkick and goes for suicide dive as Sammy cuts him off with a knee strike.

Sammy goes for the springboard moonsault. Bryan gets back in the ring and Sammy starts attacking him. He hits the suplex. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Guevara continues to work Danielson. Irish whip into the corner followed by a dropkick by Sammy. Sammy goes for another dropkick. Sammy goes back to work on Danielson. He starts kicking Bryan’s chest but it’s only firing him up.

He intercepts a kick and slaps Guevara before attacking him in the corner. Bryan with vicious kicks. He goes for a running elbow strike. Sammy sent to the outside and Bryan hits the suicide dive.

He hits the shotgun dropkick on Sammy and starts kicking Guevara’s chest. Sammy fights back with a Spanish fly. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Sammy climbs tot he top rope but is stopped by Danielson who hits the back suplex but Guevara lands on his feet. He goes for a standing shooting star but Danielson catches him and locks him in the LaBelle lock. Sammy rolls over and puts his foot on the bottom rope.

Danielson climbs the top rop but is caught by Sammy who hits Spanish fly. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Guevara starts biting the head of Bryan before picking him but Bryan espcapes and hits reverse hurricanrana.

Bryan then hist Bushaiko knee. He then continues to continuously stomp Guevara before locking in the triangle choke and hitting him with viscious elbows.

Winner; Bryan Danielson

Rey Fenis is interviewed by Renee. He asks about Penta’s match. Fenis says Penta is going to win. He also anyone can be double cahmpion. Alex suggests Rey should be All Atlantic Championship.

They are interrupted by Christian who says anyone who deserves a championship match is Luchasaurus. Orange Cassidy then walks in and says ;et’s do this next week.

Riho vs. Jamie Hayter

Jamie Hayter makes her way out to the ring with Dr. Britt Baker and Rebel. Riho’s music hits and she walks out to the ring.

Match starts with both women tying up in the corner. Jamie showing her strength against Riho by picking her and slamming her down. Riho with the headscissors.

Hayter sent to the outside. Riho hits the cross body of the top turnbuckle. Riho slammed into the apron and barricade before being slammed on the apron. Hayter hits the jackhammer. Cover! 1….2…kick out.

Jamie Hayter goes to work on Riho. Riho attacked in the corner by Hayter. Riho sent outside and Britt Baker attacks her as the referee is distracted by Hayter in the ring.

Riho sent back into the ring by Hayter. Hayter continues to work on Riho. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Hayter body slams Riho. Jamie continues to work Riho with vicious attacks. Riho fights back but is stopped by Jamie. Riho still fights back with a dropkick.

Riho with the roll up followed by a stomp. Riho with running knee strike to Hayter.

Jamie tripped into the rope. Riho goes for tiger feint kick but it stopped. Riho goes for Northern Lights suplex. Cover! 1..2… kick out.

She goes for crossbody but is caught by Jamie who hits brainbuster. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Hayter goes for back suplex but is countered by Riho. Riho hits the hurricanrana.

Britt Baker grabs the boot of Riho. She goes for a knee but is caught, thrown up, but Riho hits the code red. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Riho climbs to the top and goes for the foot stomp but Jamie hits the backbreaker.

Goes for ripcord lariat but Riho hits dragon suplex. Cover!1….2…kick out. She rolls up Hayter. 1..2…kick out. But Hayter kicks her in the head and follows it up with a ripcord lariat for the win.

Winner; Jamie Hayter

After the match, Toni Storm’s them song plays and she comes out with her title and holds it up.

Eddie Kingston in interviewed by Renee. She asks how he feels. He says he is great and is having a blast. He says he want’s to talk about Moxley’s match. He says it’s going to be hard for Jon but he is going to win. He then asks everyone else to leave him alone.

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

Penta El Zero Miedo’s music plays and he walks out to the ring. Jon Moxley’s music plays next and walks to the ring through the crowd.

The match starts with both men shoving each other. Both men exchange strikes. Penta with kick to stomach. Moxley goes for Lariat but Penta ducks and taunts him.

He superkicks him and hits the diving plancha. Penta staying on Moxley outside the ring. Moxley fights back with chops and goes for suplex but is reversed by Penta.

Moxley’s face slammed into the steel steps. He sets him up against the post and chops him. He goes for it again but Moxley ducks and he hits his hand on the post

Moxley send him into the ring. Irish whip but Penta counters into a backstabber. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Penta continues to work Jon. Moxley fights back with a big boot and hits the overhead belly to belly suplex sending Penta into the turnbuckle.

Moxley attacks Penta in the corner. Penta with a thrustkick followed by sling blade. Cover! 1…2…kick out. He goes for the package piledriver but Moxley hits cutter followed by the piledriver. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Moxley with the crossface. He transitions into the anvil elbows and then goes for the bulldog headlock. Penta escapes and attacks the arm,

Moxley gets out of it and hits the stomps. Penta escapes and hits the armbreaker. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Both men fight on the apron. Moxley hits the DDT on the steps. Moxely with the kingkong lariat. Cover! 1,,,2,,,kick out.

He sets up Penta in the top turnbuckle. Penta escapes and hits the knee. He hits the package piledriver. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Penta goes for a springboard move but Moxley hits paradigm shift followed by death rider for the win.

Winner: Jon Moxley (c)

After the match, Jon Moxley is attacked by the Firm. Security comes but it isn’t enough to stop The Firm. In the back, Blackpool Combat are trapped in their room. Moxley fights back but isn’t enough as The Firm continue the assault.

MJF comes out looking conflicted. He then walks back but runs back into the ring to stop the attack and fires Stokely Hathaway. The Firm then attacks MJF. They rip MJF’s shirt. Ethan Page hits the Ego’s Edge on MJF. MJF thrown outside the ring. MJF fights back but isn’t enough. Morrisey chokeslams MJF through the ring announcer’s table as the show goes off the air.
