Eddie Kingston Still Doesn’t Trust Claudio Castagnoli

Eddie Kingston has stated publicly that he does not like Claudio Castagnoli or Bryan Danielson. Despite competing with Bryan in Anarchy in the Arena and Claudio in Blood & Guts on the same team, Kingston has made clear his differences with both men on AEW television and has maintained his distance.

Kingston recently appeared on ESPR, and he was questioned about his relationship with William Regal when he gave an update on his ties with Claudio and Bryan. “I don’t talk to him [Regal] because he’s a Bryan fan,” he said. Then he went on to further explain his stance.

“He really likes Bryan and he really likes Claudio. Me and Claudio are cool now, but I don’t trust him. Only reason me and Caludio are cool is because Mox [Jon Moxley] asked me. I told Mox that I would never be cool with Bryan.”

On Friday’s AEW Rampage, Ortiz and Death Triangle confronted Kingston and asked him to calm down after he didn’t release the submission hold on Sammy Guevara. Kingston was formerly aligned with Penta and Fenix before PAC came back at the end of 2020.
