Darren Young parted ways with WWE long ago. Fans will always remember him for his time as a member of The Nexus stable and The Prime Time Players.

Now known as Fred Rosser, he has been doing great work in NJPW. He is the reigning NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion after defeating Tom Lawlor.

As fans are aware, Fred Rosser is openly gay and came out several years ago. While speaking on the Insiders Edge podcast, Fred Rosser revealed that CM Punk showed him support after he came out.

“He came up to me in catering, and he was all iced up and he told me to stand up in catering,” Rosser said. “I stood up and he gave me a hug, and he told me after I had came out on television, that if I had any issues with anyone in the locker room to let him know, that he had my back. So I was like, ‘Wow.’ It was that minute that I realized that my story was a big deal, and that at the time he did have my back.”

Fred Rosser also wants to dress up as a Black John Cena. We will have to wait and see whether Rosser ever does return to WWE or not.
