Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became a megastar there in no time. He is someone the company can fully rely on and has constantly put the company ahead of himself.

As previously reported, the current AEW World Champion recently signed a five-year contract with AEW, ensuring he will be with the company for a very long time. He will also be a trainer and coach as part of that new contract.

Due to his new contract, Moxley can no longer compete in GCW, where he was previously the GCW World Champion. While speaking to The Business of the Business, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale made it clear that he believes Jon Moxley will return to the company.

“I don’t think we’ll see him as frequently, but I do think we’ll see him again. I think if there comes a time where there’s somebody he wants to wrestle or a show he wants to be a part of, I think he’ll be there. I think he’ll let me know in much the same way that he’s let me know … he’ll shoot me a text and say, ‘What do you have coming up in this month? Or when are you going to be in this place?’ … I’ll continue to look at it as a bonus anytime he comes around.”

We will have to wait and see whether Jon Moxley will ever return to GCW or not. After all, he did hint at going to other companies somewhere down the line.
