The Acclaimed Takes Shot At WWE NXT Losing To Dynamite During AEW Rampage

This past week saw a clash take place between AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT as both shows went head-to-head for the ratings supremacy. Both promotions left no stone unturned to emerge victorious in the ratings war. While WWE had several main roster stars show up in NXT, AEW Dynamite schedule four major championship matches for the show.

However, WWE’s efforts proved futile as AEW ended up ahead in the ratings by a big margin. On tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, The Acclaimed addressed the ratings win during their entrance rap.

“We about to win like we won the ratings on Tuesday,” said Max Caster during his entrance.

This is not the first time AEW has taken shots at WWE, and it certainly won’t be the last, either. Both companies are at loggerheads with each other that it would seem next to impossible for these promotions to coexist together. However, AEW ticket sales have been poor recently, and it will be interesting to see if this ratings boost will lead to a boost in ticket sales.
