Penelope Ford Pulled From AEW Rampage Match Due To Injury

Penelope Ford was picking up the steam in AEW until an injury put her on the shelf. Ford returned to action a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, she couldn’t compete tonight on Rampage.

Penelope Ford was originally booked to take on Willow Nightingale in a rubber match during the live edition of Rampage tonight. Tony Schiavone revealed that Penelope Ford got injured and was therefore ruled out of the match.

Leila Gray replaced Penelope Ford against Willow Nightingale during Rampage tonight. AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill said she ordered Leila Gray to compete to save AEW from embarassment.

Penelope Ford returned to AEW TV on during an episode of Rampage from August after months of inactivity. Ford squared off against Athena but failed to secure a win.
