Paige VanZant established herself as one of the most well-known female stars in the MMA world, but for different reasons. Her track record in the world of combat sports is mediocre at best as well.

The former UFC fighter signed a contract with AEW earlier this year. After a lot of training, she made her in-ring debut at AEW Double Or Nothing and was part of the winning team as well.

However, she has not been since then. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Paige VanZant has disappeared from all talk in AEW.

Paige VanZant, who has disappeared from all talk, was a subject asked about to her wrestling trainer, David “Gangrel” Heath. He said, “Yes, I did (train her) for a little while there. She did well. She didn’t train as much as I would have liked for her to train, but I haven’t seen her since that match. She did that match, she wrote me and said, ‘Hey, I’d like to go over the match with you and some critique.’ And I said, ‘Sure,’ and that’s the last I heard from her. She’s an athlete. She could have been really, really good at it actually.”

VanZant has not competed since her match at Double or Nothing. She has even been begging Tony Khan for a match. We will have to wait and see if she will return to AEW or not.
