Darby Allin has gained a large fan following thanks to his unique look and gimmick. Allin has worked hard to become one of the Four Pillars in the company. However, many fans are clearly concerned about Darby Allin’s well-being due to his reckless style of pro wrestling.

Allin has competed in several top class matches, including those that have put his body through a lot of punishment. These include the coffin matches, as well as his ‘Anything Goes Match’ against Jeff Hardy earlier this year.

Allin took a huge bump from the top of a ladder onto several chairs, as fans were clearly concerned for his health after that. While speaking on the latest episode of ‘The Sessions’ Allin admitted that he thought the match would end his career.

“Earlier in the day, I climbed that ladder and I looked down and I was like ‘yeah, I’m for sure going to the hospital tonight.’ There’s no way around it.

Everybody asks me ‘dude how’d that feel?’ And honestly, it didn’t feel like anything, it was so safe. You can see me if you watch the video back, I kinda go to Jeff’s ear ‘that sh*t was so fun!”

AEW-wise, that was the craziest thing. I thought for sure I was going to meet my doom.”

Darby Allin is currently feuding with Jay Lethal on AEW television. We will have to wait and see how their next match will turn out to be.
