Charlotte Flair’s booking in WWE is often a controversial topic of conversation. Fans were just fed up with seeing Flair in the main event picture, which is why they were happy after Flair lost the title.
At WrestleMania Backlash, Ronda Rousey challenged Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship in an ‘I Quit’ match. Rousey ultimately beat The Queen for the title.
Since then, Flair has been absent from WWE television. While speaking on Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell told SP3 that he believes Flair will return to feud with Bayley in the future.
“I think her [Bayley’s] next angle, her next opponent, going forward, will be Charlotte Flair. And if they hadn’t beaten the hell out of Lacey Evans like that, she would have been a great one to step up. If they wanted to get her over for Charlotte, a little more.”
She has already been advertised for a future episode of Friday Night Smackdown. We’ll have to see what WWE has planned for her once she is back.
