This week’s AEW Dynamite was a special edition that took place on Tuesday instead of the usual Wednesday. The show featured a jam-packed card with four major championships on the line. The show certainly felt more like a PPV than a weekly episodic show. Sadly, things didn’t end well for Hangman Page.

The main event of AEW Dynamite saw Jon Moxley defend his AEW World Championship against Hangman Page. While the match was quite good, it ended in a scary fashion.
During the closing moments of the match, Jon Moxley hit Hangman Page with a vicious lariat. After the incident, Hangman Page was lying on the match without much movement. After Doc Sampson checked on him, it was decided that the match had to stop, as Hangman Page couldn’t continue.
This worried fans as they watched their favorite AEW star lying motionless on the ground unable to get up. In fact, the medical personnel had to carry Hangman Page to the back in a stretcher. It was later reported that Hangman Page suffered a concussion. However, almost a day after the incident, Hangman took to Twitter to issue a statement which read as follows:
“Hey thanks everyone for being so nice, im doing alright and feeling good today. had a nice panini for lunch. thanks to paul, medical, mox, brandon, bj, etc, (insert introspective yet merciless quote about unfinished business here).”
This story is developing and we will keep you updated on Hangman Page’s injury status as well as when he will return to the ring.
