Adam “Hangman” Page was determined to regain the AEW World Title, but his main event match against Jon Moxley this week did not end well at all. Moxley nailed Hangman with a brutal lariat, and the match was ended after Page went crashing to the mat.

Hangman Page was checked out backstage before he was taken to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a concussion at that time. You may click here for close-up shots of that brutal lariat from Moxley.
AEW released a statement on the matter following the scary situation. They thanked fans for their love and support, but also revealed that Hangman was discharged from that Cincinnati hospital and will remain on AEW’s concussion protocol.
Hangman Adam Page was taken tonight by medical personnel to a Cincinnati trauma center and diagnosed with a concussion. He was discharged, but will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.
AEW and Hangman Page are grateful for the exemplary response and care of staff and local medical personnel, and are appreciative of the love and support of fans everywhere.
We’re sending out our best to Hangman Page at this time. It is unknown when he will wrestle again, but this situation is not a work at all. Page has a young family, and we hope that he is able to get back to good health very soon.
