Davey Boy Smith Jr, son of WWE Hall of Famer the British Bulldog, signed a new contract with WWE last year. He competed in just one dark match and was never heard from again.
It was said that Davey Boy Smith Jr. had disappeared from WWE and fans didn’t know what to expect. In the end, Davey Boy Smith Jr. was released by the company back in November last year.
While speaking with “The Total BeezSheez Show,” Davey Boy Smith Jr talked about his shockingly brief run with WWE. Smith made it clear that he had no idea what went wrong with his run.
Your guess is as good as mine. Honestly, I wish I could tell you more. I have no idea.
I was kind of wondering where the run was going to because they were paying me,” he said about his inactivity. “I was getting the most amount of money I’ve ever made my whole career to do nothing, so I wasn’t sure.” Smith felt frustrated because he “showed up in the best shape of my life – I got up to 280 with six-pack abs and was training very hard. I’m totally spiritual also, so maybe my father and Owen and Dynamite and Stu were just kind of looking out for me
Smith Jr is currently wrestling in MLW but not on a permanent basis. We will have to wait and see if he will return to WWE or not.
