The Judgement Day stable on WWE television has a lot of aspects to it, but things could always get switched up a bit. Jim Cornette is a wrestling industry legend that has helped the pro wrestling business shape its way into the fans’ hearts. He recently had a take on the ongoing Rhea Ripley storyline, and he had an interesting two cents to add.
Jim thinks it would be apt if WWE turned this story into a romantic saga between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Dominik is now a member of The Judgement Day.
While speaking about the situation on his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim said that he can’t fight his own son. WWE is making the product look like a kid’s presentation.
Poor Rey Mysterio, they’ve given him a… okay, yes, it’s a hard sell, anyway, when you’re doing a program with your own son. But if there was something to this, if they played up more that Dominik is in love with Rhea Ripley and she’s leading him around by the di*k – everybody could believe it,” [From 2:45:35 to 2:45:55]
Instead, they are giving Rey this dramatic and unnatural scripted verbiage, with too much soap opera bullsh*t [From 2:46:10 to 2:46:17]
On last week’s SmackDown, Rey Mysterio moved to the Blue brand permanently and immediately got a big opportunity. Rey Mysterio, on the other hand, defeated Sheamus, Solo Sikoa, and Ricochet in a match on SmackDown.
The Master of 619 was added to the four-way match to determine the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship, which is currently held by Gunther.
