Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters had a decent time in WWE, where he would win championship gold. He was released by WWE in 2007 before returning for a second run in 2009.

Masters changed his ring name to Adonis and has been competing on the independent circuit. He also became the NWA National Heavyweight Champion on two different occasions.

During his tenure, Masters would have a regular ‘Master Lock’ challenge, in which contestants would try and break his move. After a couple of years, Bobby Lashley would break the lock on the March 19, 2007 episode of Raw.

Speaking with Steve Fall, Masters spoke about a possible WWE return and made it clear he wants a piece of Bobby Ashley.

“Bobby and I obviously know each other really well. I just felt like it would be a cool moment and I still hope, cross my fingers, that we can make that moment happen. I mean, it would obviously be cool for me but I think it would be cool for all of you, all the fans.”

Masters also previously teased returning during the Royal Rumble match earlier this year. We will have to wait and see if Masters will ever return to WWE or not.
