Charlie Haas was one of the mainstays of WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era as he was part of the highly successful tag team called Team Angle alongside Shelton Benjamin. They were two-time WWE Tag Team Champions and held the ROH World Tag Team titles twice. All-Star Wrestling Australia promotion recently sent their best wishes for Haas’ welfare after he missed out multiple shows.
According to the Facebook page for the All-Star Wrestling Australia promotion, former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Charlie Haas missed some events in Australia. They made the announcement and then provided an update. Their social media team made the 8 hour travel north for events in Casino and Evans Head today and were unable to get access to a computer until now.
After unsuccessful attempts by their team and Charlie’s management to contact him yesterday, they learned that Charlie Haas, who was supposed to be present at their events on October 14, 15, and 16, had not arrived at his planned arrival time. They were all truly concerned for Charlie’s welfare.
Good Afternoon, first of all we here at All-Star Wrestling Australia apologise about the lack of news in regards to the Charlie Haas situation, our team including social media team have been making the 8 hour travel north for events in Casino and Evans Head today and have been unable to get access to a computer until now.
Yesterday we were disappointed to find out that Charlie Haas who was scheduled to appear for our October 14th, 15th and 16th events did not arrive at his scheduled arrival time, attempts to reach Charlie by our team and his management were not successful, we all were genuinely concerned about Charlie’s well being.
We attempted to contact flight agencies, airlines and even had a member of our staff waiting at the airport for Charlie for over 2 hours, we and his management still don’t know the full story but what we do know is that Charlie did not board his flight to Australia and did not attempt to at any point.
We apologise to the fans who came out to see Charlie and didn’t get to see him, we will be refunding those who purchased individual meet and greet tickets next week.
While Charlie’s management are still unsure of the full circumstances, they do know that Charlie did not board his flight to Australia and did not make any attempt to do so. All-Star Wrestling Australia made attempts to contact flight agencies, airlines, and even had a member of their staff wait for Charlie for more than two hours at the airport.
Finally, they apologized to the fans who came out to see Charlie but were unable to do so. Those who bought individual meet-and-greet tickets will receive a refund the following week. Stay tuned to Ringside News for the latest news and updates.
