LA Knight wasted no time in making an impact when he debuted during NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. He underwent a huge change after being called up to the main roster, as he was then known as Max Dupri.
Knight debuted as part of the Maximum Male Models agency, with ma.çé and mån.sôör being the first two acquisitions of the agency. Eventually, Maxine Dupri joined the fold as well.
However, he left the group and became LA Knight again. He also defeated Mansoor in a singles match on Smackdown. Afterwards, LA Knight immediately turned heel and insulted the crowd.
While speaking to Megan Morant, LA Knight claimed that he is the one and only megastar in WWE and will prove his point.
We want to talk about Maximum Male Models? Mace and Mansoor, right? Wrong.
Because where are they? They are getting flushed down the toilet right about now. Why is that?
It is because Mace and Mansoor, both of them, dropped on their head for their troubles. And what does that mean?
Now moving forward, now I’m going only where I can go and that is to the top. Why is that?
Because there is one, and only one, megastar walking around WWE and you are looking at him.
Why is that? Because whose game is it? It’s LA Knight’s game. YEAH.
We will have to wait and see how LA Knight will be booked in the coming weeks. If anything, he will have the entire WWE Universe looking at him.
