After winning an Olympic Gold Medal with ‘broken freaking neck,’ Kurt Angle was able to transition into a successful WWE superstar. He had the natural charisma and great personality and was able to draw a reaction from the crowd.

Even today, Kurt Angle manages to stay relevant largely due to his contributions to the wrestling community. In fact, Kurt Angle who is from Pittsburgh was asked to perform a towel twirl to promote cancer awareness. The former WWE Champion shared a video of his towel with the following caption:

My son Joseph and I led the incredible Pittsburgh Steelers Fans with the terrible towel twirl today, to promote cancer awareness. Go Steelers!! We’re gonna beat the @Buccaneers today!!!! #cancerawareness @steelers

Kurt Angle retired from in-ring competition following a loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Since then, he has made sporadic appearances on WWE TV. The most recent appearance was during August 29th episode of RAW that took place in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Although his last match against Barron Corbin was criticized, Kurt Angle has no plans of getting back in the ring.
