AEW has certainly undergone quite a few changes since its debut a few years ago. While there are a lot of things they still have to improve on, it continues to deliver a compelling product, week in and week out.

During AEW Rampage: Grand Slam, the Great Muta sided with Sting in the Sting & Darby Allin vs House of Black No DQ match, following interference from Julia Hart. This was certainly a shocking debut for many.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc. Senior News Editor Nick Hausman, The Great Muta revealed that the Gates Of The Demon World led to his appearance on AEW television.

“When the gates of the demon world opened up to me, suddenly, I was in AEW’s ring. I saw Sting, and knew that if I saved him, he would come to my retirement match in Yokohama.

He wrestled for WCW, NJPW, AJPW, Wrestle-1, TNA, and DDT Pro Wrestling, and he currently wrestles for Pro Wrestling NOAH. He will have his official retirement next year, where he will team up with Sting. We’ll have to see how the match will turn out to be.
