Malakai Black was released from WWE back in June last year, after a very disappointing stint on the main roster. When he debuted in AEW the month after that, thanks to a paperwork mistake on WWE’s part, and fans were simply elated to see him there.

He was the leader of the House Of Black alongside Brody King and Buddy Matthews and found some mild success for a while. As previously reported, AEW has given a conditional release to Malakai Black, because of his own mental well-being.

However, Black then went on a rant on social media and claimed that he was not released from AEW. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had been interested in bringing Malakai Black to be part of the rumored Wyatt6 faction.

While obviously this won’t happen, there was talk of Aleister Black for this group.

Tony Khan isn’t granting AEW releases right now, so that release request was nixed. WWE also has huge plans for Bray Wyatt’s rumored faction. We will have to wait and see what will become of the faction.
