Ronda Rousey is possibly the biggest name to make her way from the world of combat sports to professional wrestling. She wasted no time adapting to WWE’s style of pro wrestling.

After returning to WWE during the Royal Rumble this year, Rousey feuded with Charlotte Flair. Their first encounter this year was at WrestleMania 38, where Rousey challenged for Flair’s WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, she was unable to beat Flair.

She then went on to defeat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Backlash in an ‘I Quit’ match. While speaking on her latest vlog, which was filmed just after WrestleMania Backlash, Rousey stated that she wanted to call out WWE for only having one women’s match at the event.

“I wanted to call out WWE for only having one women’s match out of six matches at Backlash. We’re more than one-sixth of the company and I need to do my part and make sure more women are at the forefront. Also, I don’t want to say ‘women’s’ in the title anymore. I think they were kind of resistant to taking it out. I was like, ‘can I just not have to say it?’ That’s kind of where it’s

We will have to wait and see just how Ronda Rousey is booked as the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Perhaps she will have a proper reign this time around.
