Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and wasted no time in becoming a megastar there. He is someone the company can fully rely on and has constantly put the company ahead of himself.

As previously reported, the current AEW World Champion recently signed a five-year contract with AEW, ensuring he will be with the company for a very long time. He will also be a trainer and coach as part of that new contract.

Mox will also be working fewer indie dates because of his new contract. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Moxley’s intention was to work in AEW for three years and then go off to do whatever he wanted, working the independent scenes while also being a freelancer with AEW.

Obviously, things changed and Mox signed a new deal. He will now work less indie dates, but odds are he will wind up in NJPW once again.

Moxley already hinted at making appearances outside of AEW. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Moxley.
