WWE released a lot of people over the past few years, but Triple H made a habit of bringing back people he can use. The Game could very well give Erick Redbeard a call, especially after Bray Wyatt’s comeback.

Erick Redbeard, the former Erick Rowan, was released by WWE back in April 2020, as part of COVID-19 budget cuts. Since then, he returned to the independent circuit.

Erick Redbeard has made a few appearances on AEW television. The first time was during the Brodie Lee tribute show back in December 2020. After that, he appeared back in March of this year.

While speaking with NBC Sports Boston, Redbeard admitted that he wasn’t ready to leave WWE in 2020. He also hinted at continuing his story in WWE.

“There’s always opportunity, and my story within wrestling and that character of Erick Rowan or Erick Redbeard, it has so much left to tell. I think when I stepped aside when COVID happened and people were let go, I wasn’t ready for my story to stop on that [note].

With Triple H hiring previously-released WWE Superstars as of late, it would not be far-fetched to believe Erick Redbeard could be returning as well. It remains to be seen what Redbeard will do in the end.
