Johnny Gargano Admits He’s Not At The Top Of His Game Yet After WWE Return

Johnny Gargano was considered the heart and soul of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. His excellent matches and in-ring skills propelled him to the top of the NXT division.

Gargano left WWE last year and fans were very sad about that fact. After his exit, fans wondered what the future held for him. Their questions were answered after Gargano came back to WWE.

The former NXT Champion squared off against Austin Theory on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. He also managed to defeat his former protege as well.

Gargano took to Twitter and reflected on his return, as he admitted that he is not at the top of his game just yet.

I feel like I’m slowly getting my groove back but I’m not truly at the top of my game just yet.. but if you’re new to my work or have supported me from day one.. This is just a quick shout to all of you that have my back out there. I hear ya and I’m truly grateful for y’all!

We’ll have to see what the company has in store for Gargano in the coming weeks. Fans are simply happy that he is back to WWE for good now.
