The AEW All Out media scrum ended in complete and utter disaster after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, decimating the aforementioned talent.
Punk was involved in a backstage brawl where he fought with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. As previously reported, AEW has suspended everyone involved in the brawl.
It has been over a month since the brawl, but people are still talking about it. In fact, there will be future ramifications because of this. While speaking 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff spoke on all the recent internal struggles within AEW currently. He added that the brawl will have further ramifications for the company.
“I think things have become a little bit more tense in AEW in a very short period of time. I think the level of physicality and the issues involved and the impact that it has had, stripping CM Punk of the world title. You got the Young Bucks [and Kenny Omega] sitting on the sidelines. That’s a pretty significant impact.
I think probably the legal implications have a lot to do with that because it’s a very – I would imagine – complex legal situation that AEW is facing as a result of that. The stakes are very high. How much are they going to pay CM Punk to walk away? It’s a lot of chaos in a short period of time. That’s for sure.”
MJF also believes the AEW All Out brawl has become less interesting. We will have to wait and see what kind of changes the company will see as a result of the brawl in the end.
