Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all as far as being a WWE Superstar is concerned.

On this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Sheamus squared off against GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship. The match ended in controversial fashion as many believed GUNTHER tapped out, but he did not.

During the WWE Extreme Rules Premium Live Event, The Brawling Brutes battled Imperium in a Donnybrook match to start off the event. Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland isolated Gunther in the ring at one point during the match and destroyed GUNTHER.

Sheamus won the match after hitting the Brogue Kick on Giovanni Vince for the pinfall victory. Following the end of the match, Sheamus took to Twitter and blasted GUNTHER for being a dishonorable cheat.

Let it be known that 24 hours in hell showed ‘The Ring General’ to be nothing more than a dishonourable defeated cheat.. submitted then torn apart by 3 hungry dogs. Oh, and he tapped. What’s mine is mine. #ICTitle

We will have to wait and see whether Sheamus will get another shot at GUNTHER’s title, as it is unlikely their feud is over just yet. If anything, WWE is building to that moment when Sheamus pulls down the final title there is for him left to carry in WWE.
