Roman Reigns has been on a warpath, WWE as the Undisputed Universal Champion since his return back in 2020. The Tribal Chief remains an imposing figure on Friday Night Smackdown.
The Tribal Chief became the Undisputed Champion after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has been utterly infallible, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
Karrion Kross made his return to WWE television a while ago and immediately had a staredown with Roman Reigns, implying that he will go after Roman Reigns’ titles in the future.
While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Karrion Kross talked about Roman Reigns’ current run as the champion. Kross called Reigns the modern-day Bruno Sammartino.
“I feel like everyone should wanna be in the ring with Roman Reigns. For me, I hope nobody minds that I’m comparing him, but, to me, he’s our modern-day Bruno. Like, what he’s doing right now, in my opinion, is historic for our company’s history. This art of storytelling. It’s an amazing thing, and it’s going very well. People are having fun. They’re enjoying what they’re watching. It’s something different every week, I could go on and on. That’s the guy that I’d wanna be in the ring with.”
Reigns will defend his titles against Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th, We will have to wait and see how the match will turn out to be.
