Mark Henry is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame and the 2002 “World’s Strongest Man.” He shocked the world when he made his debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view last year. Henry recently claimed that his son Jacob will be an even better athlete than he was.
Henry’s son can already squat 600 pounds, so he’s a chip off the old World’s Strongest Man block. During an interview with TMZ Sports, Henry gushed about 16-year-old son Jacob and his many talents. Henry expressed how proud he was of the junior in high school for continually pushing himself to improve without needing encouragement from his father.
Football-wise, he’s already ahead of me. He’s a really dominant player, impossible to block one-on-one. He took 28 double teams against the number one offensive line in the state and the best football team in the state of Texas. I know what Jacob is and what he’s gonna be. I’m just looking forward to seeing it happen. He’ll definitely be a better athlete than I am.
“He’s such a well-rounded kid. [He] loves God more than anything, and I just wanna see him have every outlet that he wants to try his hand in. I want him to have success. I believe in opportunities.”
Henry added that Jacob has a promising future in wrestling and that he is aware of the various intricacies involved in competing within the squared circle. Mark claimed that Jacob’s singing talent is another amazing quality about him in addition to his athletic skills. You may check out the videos below.
