Bianca Belair is the current Raw Women’s Champion. She worked well between the ropes and has proven her mettle between the ropes. Her work has surprised fans from the world over.
The EST of WWE has made various fans, and it looks like she may be on the verge of a record. She has held the prestigious title, and during her talk with BT Sport, she was informed that if she holds the title for 12 more days than it would be 200 days that a black woman has held a WWE title for such a duration.
Belair was elated at that information and it does put pressure on her. She is doing her best to become the best version of herself, but with the new challenge in place, things will be different.
Oh wow. Ok, even more pressure. I need to hit that milestone. We have to make that happen…I always say we because I never feel like I’m on this journey alone because my fans are with me. We got to make this happen. That’s a huge milestone. I wanna keep breaking those barriers and be that person that shows this is possible. Let’s keep riding with this. So, even more pressure, let’s make it happen because, you know what? I’m going against Bayley, who is the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion. I don’t like that because she has something that ends in EST, and everything that ends in EST belongs to me, so that’s my goal to be the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion. That starts with getting past 200 days. That’s crazy.
Bianca faces the longest SmackDown Women’s Champion at Extreme Rules. She now has a task ahead of her to retain the title and become the first black woman to do it.
It would be interesting to see if WWE takes this route or do they let her drop the title just 12 days before she could make history and become the first black woman to hold a WWE title for such a long duration.
