WWE Extreme Rules 2022 card is stacked with many great matches set to take place. Two of the most anticipated matches of the show are the fight pit match and Brawling Brutes vs Imperium.
Despite the stacked card, Extreme Rules will not feature a WWE Universal Championship as Roman Reigns has the night off. Hence, WWE is considering adding a couple more matches to bolster the show further.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is considering having The Usos defend their Undisputed Tag Team Titles on the show. However, this isn’t the only match that WWE is considering adding to the mix. There are also plans to include the Women’s Tag Team Title match as well as Miz vs Dexter Lumis.
“There was nothing done this week to set up an Usos tag title match which had been considered last week,” wrote Meltzer. “Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai have done programs with both Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi and with Alexa Bliss & Asuka, although they did an injury angle for Asuka,” he continued. “There has also been a lot of push for Miz vs. Dexter Lumis.”
With Extreme Rules just around the corner, it will be interesting to see how WWE decides to add these matches to the card.
