Bandido impressed Tony Khan with his performance during the ROH World Championship match against Chris Jericho and was approached with an offer to join the Jacksonville-based promotion. Bandido hasn’t agreed to the deal yet.

Dave Meltzer reported via Figure4Online that Bandido has not yet signed a deal with AEW, and that the previous reports of the former ROH World Champion agreeing to Tony Khan’s offer were incorrect.

Fightful reported Wednesday that Bandido had agreed to terms with Dave Meltzer later confirming he had signed a deal. On Thursday, Meltzer reported that he was incorrect and that a source close to the Mexican star told him he had not signed his deal.

Bandido confirmed during an interview with Mas Lucha that he received an offer from WWE as well. He also stated that Khan pulled him aside after the match and told Bandido that “I need you in AEW.”
