WWE Set To Debut A New NXT Set

WWE will return to the USA Network this week after taking two weeks off to tape NXT Shows with a new set that will look different than it did in the past.

According to Brian Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason behind WWE’s decision to pretape the last two weeks of NXT was so that they could introduce a new set.

“As I talked about a couple of days ago, there’s gonna be a new set of some sort,” Alvarez said. “But I was told it was not gonna be as dramatic as the switch from NXT 1.0 to NXT 2.0.”

Alvarez also noted that while a new NXT set will debut tonight, the differences won’t be as elaborate as it was when WWE shifted to NXT 2.0. We’ll have to see how it all looks when the show goes live after two weeks of pre-taped episodes.
