Former WWE Superstar Paul Wight used to be known as Big Show in the WWE. He spent more than twenty years there before he decided to take his skills elsewhere.

Wight eventually decided to take his skills elsewhere and made his way to AEW last year. Since then, he has been content working as part of the commentary team on AEW Dark: Elevation and occasionally competing.

While speaking with Robbie Fox on ‘My Mom’s Basement’, Tony Khan noted that he wants to feature Wight on more shows when he has finally healed from his injuries.

“Paul, seeing him up and around has been great. Paul Wight is such an awesome presence in pro wrestling and when he’s healthy, and can be on the shows again, you know, I want to feature Paul. Unfortunately, a lot of his time in AEW has been hurt.

“He’s great on commentary when he’s been able to travel. I think that’s something, he has a great future quite frankly. I think he’s worked really, really hard at it and deserves opportunities there. So I have a lot of great things to say about Paul Wight.”

Paul Wight is more than happy where he is in AEW and that is what matters in the end. It remains to be seen when Paul Wight will compete in the ring again.
