Johnny Gargano Will Remind Austin Theory That He Is Just His Lackey

Johnny Gargano was considered the heart and soul of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. His excellent matches and in-ring skills propelled him to the top of the NXT division.

Gargano left WWE last year and fans were very sad about that fact. After his exit, fans wondered what the future held for him. Their questions were answered after Gargano came back to WWE.

Gargano was attacked by Austin Theory on this week’s RAW as well. While speaking on RAW Talk, Johnny Gargano made it clear that he will remind Austin Theory that he is just Gargano’s lackey.

“Before he was the youngest United States Champion of all time before he was the youngest Mr. Money in the Bank, he was known as Johnny Gargano’s lackey in NXT. I don’t care what he does, where he goes, I don’t care what he does with that briefcase. He will always just be Johnny Gargano’s lackey. That is what he is known for.

Next week, Brooklyn, the Barclays Center, the place where I wrestled my first TakeOver. The place where I won the NXT Championship. The Barclays Center is Johnny Wrestling’s house. Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory, Monday Night RAW. Finally, me and Theory one on one. I am going to remind him that he is just Johnny Gargano’s lackey.”

We’ll have to see what the company has in store for Gargano in the coming weeks. Perhaps he will end up defeating Austin Theory as well.
