Buff Bagwell made a name for himself in WCW, where he found moderate success as part of the mid-card scene. He eventually made his way to WWE, where he never found much success. He also crossed a huge milestone recently.

WWE also has a policy of helping former talent go through rehab, should they need it. Buff Bagwell had substance abuse issues as well. In fact, Bagwell previously said that WWE rejected his request for rehab.

While speaking on the DDP Yoga YouTube channel, Bagwell revealed that he has surpassed 30 days without using substances.

I spent four weeks up there [at rehab] and it was the only rehab I’ve really taken completely 100% serious. And I’m going to get 100% out of it on this one and already have so far and I’m going to continue.

“This is day 32 or three. I’m not a big counter on your sobriety, but my sober date is August the 26th and today is September 29. So 32 or 33 days I’ve been sober. This is the longest I’ve ever been sober. I’m really excited.”

In 2021, Bagwell started a podcast called “Rebuilding Buff.” The podcast ran into some controversy after the former star mentioned that WWE had turned him down for rehab. It seems like those days are now behind him. We are glad Buff Bagwell seems to be doing better in life now as well.
