Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are two of the top stars in WWE and there’s no denying that. Rollins and Roman Reigns go a long way back. The two have worked alongside and against each other on multiple occasions. Rollins has scored multiple wins against Reigns as well, but believes he’s always been a “second fiddle” to The Tribal Chief.

WWE dropped Seth Rollins’ interview with Ariel Helwani on their socials today. The Architect of the Shield provided a candid take on whether he sees himself as WWE’s top star. Rollins said he was only considered for a WrestleMania main event because Reigns was out with leukemia.

“Even when I had won the title at WrestleMania, cashed in, great moment, I still felt like I was second fiddle to Roman. I still felt, ‘He was the guy and you’re the place holder. He’s totally ready and we’re totally ready to put the ball in his hands, but for now you’re a step ahead so we’re gonna give you this and then we’ll move on to where we’re going to be.'”

Rollins and Reigns haven’t wrestled a singles match against each other since Royal Rumble on January 29, 2022. We’ll have to wait to see if the former partners turned bitter rivals cross paths.
