Michael Cole has been seen as the voice of WWE for many years now. He started out as a backstage interviewer and eventually moved his way up the ranks and perfected his skills.

Cole truly got his break after working with the likes of Taz on Friday Night Smackdown. He has earned the respect of fans and peers alike, even though he was not always liked.

Triple H took over WWE Creative after Vince McMahon retired, and there have been a lot of changes already. In his new book ‘There’s Just One Problem…: True Tales from the Former, One-Time, 7th Most Powerful Person in WWE’, Gewirtz recalled McMahon fining Cole for saying ‘now’ at the end of his sentences.

“We all have our personal verbal tics, Announcer Michael Cole used to say ‘now’ at the end of every sentence. ‘Jeff Hardy, into the ropes now…’ Vince took it upon himself to fine Cole every time he ended a sentence with the word ‘now,’ and sure enough Cole stopped doing it.”

Pat McAfee claimed that Michael Cole could call a match with a bag as his partner. With Triple H in charge, things have clearly changed for the better, and that is all that matters now.
