Sasha Banks and Naomi famously stormed out of WWE, and their status in the company still remains ambiguous. According to reports, they agreed to a deal with the company after the big regime change. However, seeing the change in Banks’ Twitter name, it seems she has different plans for herself.
Banks has removed the WWE from her name on Twitter. She switched up her Twitter name from @SashaBanksWWE to @MercedesVarnado, which is also her real name.
Triple H previously sounded positive about her eventual return to WWE in an interview with Ariel Helwani. However, he did acknowledge that there was a break in communication between WWE and her.
Time will tell. I think in a lot of ways communication breakdowns are terrible and there’s a communication breakdown there, for whatever reason. Starting back up that communication is not a difficult process but it can be a process, right and you have to go through the process. She’s an unbelievably talented young woman that can do just about anything she wants.
Banks hasn’t completely taken off the branding of WWE from her account, however. She still details herself to be Sasha Banks in WWE in her bio, along with her role in The Mandalorian.

She remembered who she was and the game changed.
Sasha Banks seems to be gravitating towards other career options as well. She recently talked about what kind of acting projects she loves and revealed that she wants to star in a Korean film. The star also gave an in-depth look at her ‘Star Wars: Andor‘ premiere outfit.
