Renee Paquette Believes Saraya Will Make A Huge Difference For AEW

Paige had no choice but to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 after she was kicked from behind during a WWE house show. She kept herself busy with a variety of roles afterwards.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion departed from the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. After waiting a couple of months, Paige decided to dominate headlines.

This is because she made her debut during AEW Grand Slam and completely shocked everyone. While speaking on The Sessions” podcast, Renee Paquette talked about Saraya’s AEW debut. Paquette stated that she believes she will make a huge difference for AEW.

Man, what a great moment that was to have Saraya join AEW, what this means for the women’s division. Is there a bigger star to step in that spot?” Paquette said. “We haven’t seen her wrestle in years, and to now have this massive presence for somebody who just lives and breathes pro wrestling? I think she’s going to make a huge difference for them and I’m just so excited. It was such a cool moment, what a pop.”

WWE also wanted to bring back Paige after Triple H took over. We’ll have to see what Saraya will have to say on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.
